I was outdoors yesterday trying out some rubber boots (more on that later) and when Momma was setting up my photos she noticed that my fur was looking fuzzier than normal. I must get more fuzzy wuzzy during winter months and never noticed. What about you, do you have a fuzzy wuzzy face in the winter?

ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Thanks for the warm and fuzzy wishes - sure could use them - WOOF!
DeleteI just get furrier in the winter lol
ReplyDeleteIt's official! It's a winter dog thing!
DeleteWOOF!
Hmm.. Onyxx has been looking extra fluffy.
ReplyDeleteOnyxx might be suffering from my same malady - the fuzzy wuzzies!
DeleteMaybe its to add an extra layer of warmth? Like birds fluff their feathers?
ReplyDeleteHarvey Button
Hmm Harvey - you might be on to something ...
DeleteWe think you look great no matter what!
ReplyDeletePurrs xx
Athena and Marie
Thanks so very much Marie and Athena... I wish I were sitting in the sun instead of struggling in the cold.
DeleteWOOF!
Our dogs tend to get fuzzier in the winter. And then they go through a spring shed...we wind up wading through fur!
ReplyDelete--Woofs (and purrs) from Life with Dogs and Cats.
I wish I got a whole lot fuzzier than I do - then I would not have to wear all these coats.
DeleteBOL!
I don't know about the fuzzes, just see those big sweet eyes!
ReplyDeleteAwww - thank you Amy!
DeleteMy guys are pretty darn fuzzy year-round!
ReplyDeleteFuzzy is a good thing during the cold weather - especially during cold weather!
DeleteWOOF!
Your furs are awfully cute
ReplyDeleteLily
Glad you likes - thank you Lily!
DeleteYou are sooooo cute!
ReplyDeleteAww w- thank you Aimee!
DeleteI definitely get fluffier in winter. Ten to fifteen pounds worth of fluffy. Keeps me nice and warm. :)
ReplyDeleteBOL! That is the cleverest thing I've read all day - WOOF!
DeleteYou are always cute, even in cold weather.
ReplyDeleteGracias and thank you for the visit - WOOF!
DeleteSo cute! And smart to get furrier in the winter! (love the sun shining through your ears!) Rita is actually shedding like crazy right now, but I think it's because we've had crazy summer-like weather. The trees and flowers are confused too and we're getting spring-looking buds already.
ReplyDeleteAww thanks! It does look like I am furrier but someone here mentioned that it might just be my hair standing on end too - so I look even fuzzier when I am outdoors. We've had years when the weather is mild around the Chicago area and the flowers get confused, but not this time, since we've had nothing but snow and bitter cold all winter.
DeleteWe're indoor kitties, so our fur stays pretty constant throughout the year (though we DO shed in the summer) :)
ReplyDeleteNow, what's this about BOOTS?
That is pretty cool. I posted about these rubber boots I just purchased - check it out - I felt like Peter Pan!
DeleteBentley's coat stays the same all year...shedding! : )
ReplyDeleteMy big brother Weasel is the same - more so in winter!
DeleteNow those are a pair of fantastic ears!!
ReplyDeleteAnd how - WOOF!
DeleteFuzzy wuzzy or not, you are super cute!
ReplyDeleteAwww - and you are super nice - WOOF!
DeleteWe don't know if our faces get fuzzier, but our furs get a little thicker in the winter time...even if we don't go outside. We can't wait to hear about your boots!
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by and visiting us! =^..^=
I was not aware cats' fur became thicker in the winter - good info!
DeleteWOOF!
I'm fuzzy wuzzy all year! But my undercoat is a lot thicker in the winter than in the summer. In the Spring one brushing session gives a heap of soft hair bigger than you!
ReplyDeleteMy big brother Weasel has a double coat like that. All the fur he releases from just walking can be turned into another dog - WOOF!
DeleteI get really fuzzy wuzzy but I am nekkid now. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteI won't look~BOL!
DeleteIsn't that the sweetest, most kissable face?
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.
That is the sweetest most kissable comment!
DeleteThank you - WOOF!
That is a great question! But fuzziness and furriness go hand and hand for Cinnamon.
ReplyDeleteCinnamon is nothing but fur - BOL!
DeleteMaybe your furs stick up more when it's cold outside? I noticed that Shiner's furs were sticking up a little bit earlier today.
ReplyDeleteYes, in fact, I was thinking that very same thing... you may be right!
