WW: Fuzzy Wuzzy Chihuahua

I was outdoors yesterday trying out some rubber boots (more on that later) and when Momma was setting up my photos she noticed that my fur was looking fuzzier than normal. I must get more fuzzy wuzzy during winter months and never noticed.  What about you, do you have a fuzzy wuzzy face in the winter?

  3. Maybe its to add an extra layer of warmth? Like birds fluff their feathers?

    1. Thanks so very much Marie and Athena... I wish I were sitting in the sun instead of struggling in the cold.

      WOOF!

  5. Our dogs tend to get fuzzier in the winter. And then they go through a spring shed...we wind up wading through fur!

    1. I wish I got a whole lot fuzzier than I do - then I would not have to wear all these coats.
      BOL!

  8. I definitely get fluffier in winter. Ten to fifteen pounds worth of fluffy. Keeps me nice and warm. :)

  9. So cute! And smart to get furrier in the winter! (love the sun shining through your ears!) Rita is actually shedding like crazy right now, but I think it's because we've had crazy summer-like weather. The trees and flowers are confused too and we're getting spring-looking buds already.

    1. Aww thanks! It does look like I am furrier but someone here mentioned that it might just be my hair standing on end too - so I look even fuzzier when I am outdoors. We've had years when the weather is mild around the Chicago area and the flowers get confused, but not this time, since we've had nothing but snow and bitter cold all winter.

  10. We're indoor kitties, so our fur stays pretty constant throughout the year (though we DO shed in the summer) :)

    Now, what's this about BOOTS?

  14. We don't know if our faces get fuzzier, but our furs get a little thicker in the winter time...even if we don't go outside. We can't wait to hear about your boots!

Thanks for coming by and visiting us! =^..^=

  15. I'm fuzzy wuzzy all year! But my undercoat is a lot thicker in the winter than in the summer. In the Spring one brushing session gives a heap of soft hair bigger than you!

  18. That is a great question! But fuzziness and furriness go hand and hand for Cinnamon.

  19. Maybe your furs stick up more when it's cold outside? I noticed that Shiner's furs were sticking up a little bit earlier today.
