WW: I Met My Twin!
Had a great time at the White Sox's Bark in the Park Dog Day. It is one of my favorite events of the year. This year it was even more special because we broke the Guinness Book of World Records with the most dogs and I met my twin.
They say there are others out there that look like us...well, the owner of this beautiful and smart dog agreed that we look alike and took several photos. WOOF!

Breaking the Guinness Book of World Records with the Chicago White Sox
Each year I try to go to dog day at White Sox Park. Since there are so very few events where dogs can go, it is nice to know the White Sox have continued to have this event for the past 10 years or so. I learned thousands of people apply but only a few can get tickets. I was lucky to be able to get tickets after I sent in my application this year and feel fortunate to have even received a parade pass. This is a pass to walk around the field. This year though, things are different. The Chicago White Sox are attempting to break the Guinness book of world records by having the most dogs at baseball game. Instructions are specific to ensure everyone is accounted for and at their seats for the check in and photo. And I get to be part of it - WOW!
The hardest part now is deciding which bow tie to wear with my White Sox Cap!

WW: The Dog Film Festival at the Music Box Theatre
The National Dog Film Festival movies will be playing at the Music Box Theatre in Chicago on September 11. 50% of proceeds will go to benefit PAWS Chicago. This is a perfect opportunity to view films solely dedicated to dogs. Below are some fun photos taken during the photo shoot at the Music Box Theatre.

WW: Dog Therapy Visit - Ronald McDonald House
For National Dog Day, I want you to meet my best friend, Birdie Girl (Cocker Spaniel).
We met at the advanced obedience training/Canine Good Citizen class about 6-7 yrs ago.
We also went through the therapy dog certification training and
do all our therapy dog visits together.
We normally wear our therapy bandanas, but had removed them before
leaving the facility when we took this photo.
